Claudette

My family and I live in the Florida Panhandle. As most of you may have seen, we have had a Tropical Storm just spring up out of nowhere named Claudette. It never ceases to amaze me to see how many people in this area are unprepared for these types of storms. Folks ’round here always tend to wait until the last minute then storm into grocery stores and gas stations to get what they can to either ride out the storm or hit the road. It is  nice to know that no matter what happens tomorrow, we have enough food stored and alternatives for cooking and light available. We have no worries because we are prepared!

“The prudent see danger and take refuge, but the simple keep going and suffer for it.” Proverbs 27:12

It wasn’t raining when Noah built the Ark. But Noah and his family survived the flood by building the Ark and stocking it in obedience to God (Genesis 6:11-22).

God led Joseph to use the years of plenty to store up sufficient grain to feed his people through the seven-year famine (Genesis 41:33-36).
